Do you Google?

Most of us at some stage have used Google (or a similar search engine) to look for things on the web. But there are a lot of options within the basic Google search box that can aid your efficiency. Here's a couple of examples:

1) If you want to convert between currencies, don't search for a conversion page. Simply type "convert 100 pounds into American dollars" and Google will do the rest. Another similar trick is when say, you're looking for the population of Finland. Simply enter "population of Finland" and the first line Google displays will show you the answer

2) Want to see which other websites link to yours? Enter your site prefixed by link: For example search for "link:www.bbc.co.uk" if you want to see which sites link to the bbc site.

There are many more features and tricks you can use.

Happy Googling!
